The organizers of the BBNaija, MultiChoice Nigeria, have revealed that the just-concluded All-Stars season incurred an investment cost of a staggering N5.5 billion.

The revelation came during the winner’s prize presentation ceremony held in Lagos [/b]on Tuesday, where the season’s champion, Ilebaye, was awarded the grand prize of N120 million.

Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria, shared this financial insight, emphasizing the magnitude of the financial commitment required to produce the reality show.

The All-Stars season, which brought together former fan-favorite contestants, was hailed as one of the most extravagant seasons yet, with elaborate sets, production values, and star-studded lineups.

Furthermore, Tejumola disclosed that the season garnered a record-breaking 1.53 billion votes from viewers across all available voting channels.

The N120 million grand prize was awarded to Ilebaye, a 22-year-old model hailing from Kogi State, who emerged as the victor of the All-Stars season.

Ilebaye secured her victory by amassing 30.08% of the total votes, triumphing over the formidable competition.

Mercy Eke, the previous winner of a Big Brother Naija season, came in second place with 23.48% of the votes, closely followed by CeeC, who garnered 23.41% of the votes, securing the third position.

Adekunle, with 12.61% of the votes, landed in the fourth spot, while Pere, with 5.82%, and Cross, with just 4.60%, claimed the fifth and sixth positions, respectively.

The grand prize presentation ceremony was a moment of jubilation for Ilebaye, as she received her reward from the organizers on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
