Popular media personality, Angelica Nwandu, renowned for founding the Shade Room – an Instagram-based media company focusing on celebrity gossips, recently shared a peculiar travel experience. Nwandu recounted an incident where her forgetfulness led to a rather unexpected turn of events during a flight.
In her narrative, Nwandu revealed that she had boarded a plane on the verge of takeoff only to realize she had left her purse behind at the airport. Swiftly bringing this to the attention of the flight staff, an unusual decision was made that stirred emotions among the passengers.
According to Nwandu, the pilot opted to turn the plane around to facilitate her retrieval of the forgotten purse. This unexpected maneuver resulted in a collective sense of vexation among the passengers, and upon the purse's arrival in the fuselage, a frenzy ensued as passengers eagerly tried to catch a glimpse of the item responsible for the abrupt delay.
Reflecting on the incident, the media personality noted that while the majority of the passengers held animosity towards her, there was a level of understanding among the female cohort who had the opportunity to inspect the purse in question.
In her own words, Nwandu expressed, “Everyone on the plane literally hates me because as we were going to take off I made the plane turn around because I left my purse at the gate. They even announced I was the reason on the speaker e. Then when they brought my purse to the plane everyone wanted to see what kind of purse was worth delaying them 30 minutes. The girls that got it understood though.”
