Nigerian singer Portable’s 4th baby mama, Ashabi Simple, has refuted claims of clout-chasing and provided insights into the intricacies of her relationship with the singer.
The controversy unfolded as Ashabi Simple shared details about her relationship with Portable during an interview with actress Abiola Adebayo, an interview that Portable found displeasing, leading him to express his dissatisfaction on social media.
Berating Ashabi Simple, Portable claimed she is just a side chic to him, asserting that without his name added to hers, she would be inconspicuous in the public eye.
In response to these allegations, Ashabi Simple addressed the situation in an exclusive interview with Punch.
“That is just how human beings are. He is a celebrity, and he thinks I just want to use him to trend. He is just being protective, but I have to work. I do not disrespect him,” Ashabi Simple said.
“I do not see the trolls because I don’t follow any blogs, and I have locked my comment section. I don’t need anybody to care; it is my life,” she added.
