It was later discovered that Adeleye Ayomide, an undergraduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), was responsible for abducting and murdering Christianah. He subsequently buried her on his property. There are additional reports suggesting that Ayomide may have been involved in the deaths of his ex-girlfriend in 2018 and his sister in 2020, under similar circumstances.

In response to this horrific case, Ayra Starr has taken to her X page to demand justice for Idowu Christianah. She has emphasized that such violence against women must end, stating that women deserve better treatment and protection.

Ayra Starr wrote: “Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah”
