In a candid post-eviction interview with Naija FM, Lagos, TJay opened up about his initial assumptions regarding their relationship, which turned out to be completely wrong. TJay, who had been watching the couple's interactions closely during their time in the house, revealed that he had believed Kellyrae and Kassia were co-parents, attempting to reignite their romantic relationship.
In the interview, TJay admitted that their dynamic in the house had led him to believe that they were simply two people who shared a child and were now trying to rekindle their relationship. This belief, which seemed logical to him at the time, also amused many fans who had been watching from outside. Kellyrae and Kassia have long been known for keeping their personal lives out of the spotlight while still showcasing strong chemistry and a close bond during their time on the show. The pair’s privacy and close connection only served to fuel TJay's assumption that they were former partners trying to work things out.
“I been think say them [Kellyrae and Kassia] be baby mama and daddy, probably trying to rekindle their relationship,” TJay confessed during the interview, reflecting on how the couple's actions had seemed to support his assumption. “I felt like a fool when I came out to find out Kassia and Kellyrae are married. I was almost defending them in the house,” TJay emphasized.
