Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya, has expressed her reaction to the outcome of the Lagos State gubernatorial election, where the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In her statement, Naya noted that the people of Lagos turned up for those who had died during the ENDSARS protest, which took place on the 20th of October 2020. She added that the residents of Lagos never forgot about the incident and that Lagos governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who is also a candidate of APC, is shaking over the results. The actress made this known through a tweet where she said, "Lagosians showed up and showed out, this is for 20.10.20. We didn't forget and will never forget. Sanwo Olu is shaking right now." Along with the tweet, she shared an image containing the tweet and its engagement metrics.
