In a recent interview, Charly Boy shared his journey and expressed gratitude for a successful surgery he underwent to treat his prostate cancer, which he had openly announced on April 28th. He emphasized the importance of being open about his health condition and how it led him to take necessary action.

Charly Boy stated that he believes in sharing his struggles so that others can benefit from his experiences. He acknowledged that speaking with people who had faced similar challenges helped him realize the seriousness of his situation and prompted him to seek medical help. Three years ago, he sought the assistance of a Nigerian doctor in London who specializes in treating prostate cancer. Eventually, he opted to have the surgery in Nigeria, expressing gratitude that it was successful. Although still in the recovery phase, he remains optimistic.

In addition to discussing his health battle, Charly Boy reflected on his role as an activist. He admitted that he is not as physically active as he was in his younger days but continues to use his voice to talk, advise, motivate, and inspire young people. Despite the challenges Nigeria has faced in recent years, he maintains hope and refuses to give up on the country. He acknowledged the phenomenon of brain drain but expressed his belief in the exceptional youth who are making positive contributions and carrying the potential for a better Nigeria. Charly Boy has dedicated four decades to the freedom struggle, aiming to inspire others and contribute to the country's salvation through exceptional individuals.
