Popular Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon, has recently proposed to his wife, Damilola, once again, marking their 10-year wedding anniversary. The couple celebrated this milestone by organizing a simple gathering surrounded by loved ones.
The highlight of the event was a heartfelt moment when Deyemi got down on one knee and asked his wife to marry him all over again. Reflecting on their journey together, the actor expressed that over the years, he has gained a deeper understanding of the true meaning of marriage and wished to renew their vows.
With a ring box in hand, Deyemi spoke these words to his wife: “It’s been 10 beautiful years, and we have two beautiful boys. When I first asked you, ‘Will you marry me?’, I didn’t fully comprehend what it meant. I didn’t know it meant journeying together, battling together, going against the world together, dreaming together, living together, crying together, and doing everything together. And so, today, ten years later, I am going to ask the question again, ‘Will you say yes again?”
Overwhelmed with joy, his wife replied with a heartfelt “Yes,” and Deyemi gently slipped the ring onto her finger.
