Former security guards, Mathew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, better known as Happie Boys, who gained fame after being dismissed from their job at Chicken Republic for dancing on duty, have reportedly applied for new security jobs in Nigeria. It was earlier rumored that they had been deported from Cyprus after their relationship with Apostle Chibuzo, the general overseer of the Omega Power Ministry, deteriorated.
Back in 2022, Apostle Chibuzo had offered them help and sent them abroad to further their education after their viral dismissal from Chicken Republic, where they had worked as security guards. Their dismissal had gained them public attention and sympathy, leading the pastor to intervene and change their lives by funding their studies overseas.
However, after several weeks abroad, their relationship with the pastor soured, resulting in the pastor cutting ties with them. Following a series of unfortunate events and reported financial struggles, the Happie Boys eventually returned to Nigeria.
Now, after being idle for an extended period, the Happie Boys have reportedly applied for new security jobs in order to earn a living. A video circulating on social media shows the duo being interviewed and groomed by some individuals, signaling their return to the security profession.
