The Senate President of Nigeria, Godswill Akpabio, has broken his silence and responded to the recent allegations about him having multiple side chics.
The controversy erupted after the blogger Gistlover published a list of alleged side chics linked to Akpabio, which included names such as Nancy Isime, Hilda Baci, Wanneka, Ini Edo, Dakore Egbuson, and others. The accusations quickly went viral on social media, generating widespread discussion and speculation.
In his response, Godswill Akpabio referred back to a previous statement he made to Senator Natasha Akpoti, where he had mentioned that they were not in a forum requiring public attention or drama. He noted that his remarks had led to a significant social media uproar and his wife's phone number being publicly shared, resulting in her receiving over three thousand calls daily and her phone subsequently crashing.
Despite the commotion, Akpabio expressed his appreciation for the public interest in Senate affairs. He clarified that he is married to only one woman and is completely satisfied with his marriage. Additionally, he extended an apology directly to Senator Natasha Akpoti, in case his earlier comments had offended her.
