The outspoken Nigerian musician, Portable, didn't hold back in expressing his frustration after being unexpectedly removed from the roster of performers for the Ankara praise night at the Land of Goshen Cathedral. This unexpected development, which also affected other scheduled artists like Pasuma, quickly became a hot topic on social media.

Reacting promptly, Portable took to social media to address the issue in a video that rapidly went viral. In the video, the Zazu crooner stood his ground and declared his firm intention to fulfill his commitment to perform for the church.

In a bold statement, Portable revealed that the Celestial Church had paid him N5 million, emphasizing his sense of responsibility to deliver a performance. The audacious vocalist confidently asserted that both he and Pasuma would proceed with their scheduled performance as they considered themselves children of God.

However, Portable didn't conclude his message there. In a humble plea directed at the Celestial Church, he asked for the opportunity to perform in the name of God. He emphasized that his appearance should not be a basis for judgment, urging the clergy not to dismiss him solely based on his looks.

Quoting Portable directly:

“Cele we must do the show o, you have paid me N5 million and we must do it. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.

“This child of God is coming. Land of Goshen Cathedral please in God’s name, consider us as children of God, don’t use my looks to judge me.”
