Reality TV star Neo Akpofure recently reflected on his journey from humble beginnings to fame, sharing a memorable encounter with Nigerian artist MC Galaxy from his days as a Bolt driver.
On his Instagram page, Neo recounted an experience from 5 years ago when he was driving a Bolt car in Calabar. During this period, he had the opportunity to meet MC Galaxy and his team.
In his post, Neo shared a photo from that time, showing their stop at a bush meat and palm wine joint called Atimbo, where they enjoyed the local delicacies before heading to the airport. He reflected on the contrast between that moment and his current success, expressing gratitude for his progress and persistence.
He also mentioned that he almost made it onto the Big Brother Naija season before the one he eventually participated in, noting that his perseverance led him to the Lockdown season.
Neo's words: “5 years ago today, I was still driving on bolt in calabar, I picked up Mc Galaxy and his associate, he was craving bush meat and palm wine from somewhere called Atimbo. We enjoyed the bush meat and palm wine before dropping them off at the airport..Fast forward to today, I look back and see how far I’ve come. If I had given up on my dreams then, na me for fuck up. 🧨🙏🏽Fun fact: this year. I made it to the final stage for BBN(Pepperdem) but I didn’t get into the house.. If I gave up, I wouldn’t have entered the lockdown season.”
