A Nigerian lady has stated shocking reasons while labeling popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid, as ‘immature,’ ‘childish,’ and a ‘clout chaser.’
This was revealed in a statement she made during a podcast, where she didn't hold back in expressing her opinions about the artist's recent behavior.
While sharing her thoughts and labeling Wizkid a clout chaser, she mentioned that she is a fan of the singer but lately, he has been acting strangely, subtly insulting several individuals on social media, even those who have done nothing to him.
Her statement: “I am a fan of Wizkid, and I am a fan of his talent and his music. Regardless of how you feel about Wizkid, you can never deny his talent.”
“I think the way he has been acting lately has been very immature and childish, and I think that as a collective, we need to start admitting to ourselves that Wizkid is just as petty and childish as his other colleagues.”
“He’s not the mature one because there’s a narrative out there that Wizkid is the more mature one. But the kind of tweets that he has put out recently really rubbed me the wrong way.”
“There were subs directed at Davido and his camp, and these subs ended up dragging people who are not involved in the matter, like Chioma, and it really rubbed me the wrong way. It felt to me like Wizkid has been clout chasing lately.”
She went on to explain that despite being a long-time fan of Wizkid, his recent behavior has been off-putting and disappointing to her and many others who have followed his career. She emphasized that such actions could tarnish his reputation if he continues down this path.
Her comments have sparked a lot of debate online, with many people agreeing with her assessment while others defend Wizkid, citing his previous actions and contributions to the music industry.
