Renowned Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, opens up about his decision to stop reaching out to Genevieve Nnaji, even though she remains his favorite colleague in the industry.
In a candid conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the veteran actor fondly expressed his admiration for Genevieve, particularly highlighting her as the young woman he has portrayed a fatherly figure for in movies.
Despite his deep affection for her, Pete Edochie shared that he has chosen not to contact her anymore. He mentioned attempting to connect with her during her health challenge period, but received no response.
While acknowledging her brilliance, Edochie praised Genevieve, describing her as exceptionally talented. In his words, "Of all the girls that have played my daughters in movies, Genevieve is the one I love most. I look at her as my daughter and she took me as her father. And she is a brilliant lady, an exceptionally brilliant lady and I haven’t heard a lot from her lately. Ever since I heard that she is a little disturbed, I hope that she calls me and tell me she is okay. I wouldn’t try calling her again, I tried."
