In his message, Nasir highlighted his admiration for the project and explained that he is an innovation enthusiast with a passion for power generation. He shared that, despite his eagerness to gain practical experience in the field, he has been limited by financial constraints. Nasir also mentioned that the topic of power generation was nearly the subject of his final year project during his time at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, but again, financial difficulties prevented him and his colleagues from pursuing it.

The power plant, which Davido’s father, Adedeni Adeleke, has been working on, is expected to contribute significantly to Nigeria’s electricity generation, with Adeleke previously stating that his efforts account for around 15 percent of the country's total output. The plant is scheduled to be launched in January 2025, with an estimated budget of $2 billion.

Nasir expressed his desire to be a part of this groundbreaking project, noting that it would not only help him achieve his professional aspirations but also allow him to represent his family and his community with pride. He further mentioned his personal connection to the town of Ede in Osun State, where Davido’s uncle has been actively involved in infrastructure development, and how much he appreciates the ongoing improvements in the area.

The post concluded with a heartfelt plea, asking Davido to consider his request, and Nasir expressed his hope that this opportunity would serve as a major step towards fulfilling his childhood dream of working in the power generation field.

“Good day @davido,” Nasir wrote in his post. “I am truly impressed with the news of your father’s power plant project. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work there to kickstart my long-held dream career. I am an innovation enthusiast, and power generation is a field I am passionate about. Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to gain practical experience, as I have been focused on survival amid financial constraints.”

“This project was almost the topic of my final year project in university, but financial issues prevented my colleagues and me from pursuing it. I am a graduate of Physics Electronics from the Federal University of Technology, Minna. I am also from Osun State, specifically Ede.”

“I admire the work your uncle is currently doing in Ede, reconstructing the main roads, particularly the one passing in front of my family house in the Cottage area, opposite the Cottage Hospital. Though I was born and raised in Kaduna State, I always return to Ede for the Ileya festivals.”

“May Almighty God continue to bless your efforts. I hope you will consider my request, as this opportunity would help me fulfill my dream of working in this field, which I have aspired to since childhood. I promise to be a representative you and my family can be proud of.”

“Thank you,”
