Renowned Nigerian socialite, Pretty Mike, addresses the ongoing speculations surrounding him being labeled a ritualist. In a recent episode of Doyin’s podcast 'Doyin’s Corner,' the model and fashionista opens up about why he incorporates women into his public displays at events.
Responding to Doyin's question about whether he is a ritualist, Pretty Mike vehemently denies any association with secret cults or engagement in sinister rituals. He emphasizes that his extravagant displays at public events are purely showbiz, and the use of women in these performances is based on their suitability for the roles, not an indication of considering women inferior to men.
In his own words:
“Even the thought of answering that question makes me laugh because I keep asking myself ‘What’s the definition of a ritualist?’ Do these things exist or is it something we just watch off of African Magic or Nollywood.
But if it is based on those things we are seeing on TV and somebody uses somebody’s mother, then ‘No’. There is nothing to renew, the only thing I want to renew is my strength in Christ.”
