Music producer Samklef has taken a strong stance against Afrobeat singer Davido [/b]following remarks he made about Sheila, the estranged wife of Davido’s aide, Israel DMW.
In a recent viral video, Davido referred to Sheila [/b]in derogatory terms, calling her a “bi*ch” and suggesting that she must regret missing out on a luxurious lifestyle, including private jets and substantial wealth, after her breakup with Israel DMW.
In response, Samklef took to his X page to criticize Davido’s comments as inappropriate and out of line. He contrasted Davido's behavior with that of fellow artists Wizkid and Burna Boy, suggesting they would never make such remarks. Samklef, delivering what he described as a message from God, questioned how Davido would feel if someone were to insult his own wife, Chioma. He accused Davido of lacking empathy and morals and advised him to seek mentorship and counseling.
Samklef wrote: “Wizkid and Burna Boy will never do this! This is so so wrong! God told me to tell you this. Dear Davido, you’ve shown a lack of morals by calling Israel’s ex-wife a ‘bi*tch.’ How would you feel if someone called your wife, Chioma, the same? Wasn’t Israel already flying in private jets before your marriage? Why do you lower yourself like this? You seem to lack empathy and morals, but of course, your hypocritical fans won’t see the problem in your childish remark. Happiness doesn’t come from flying in a private jet—you need mentorship and counseling.”
