Sonia Desuwa has publicly praised her ex-husband, Jude Ighalo, while targeting a fraudulent family pastor who exacerbated their child custody battle.
Sonia's praise for Ighalo comes after she acknowledged his continued support in raising their children despite their separation.
In a recent Instagram story, Sonia accused their family pastor of manipulation, claiming the pastor encouraged Ighalo to take their children from her. She shared these accusations after reposting a video from actor Uche Maduagwu, who had praised her for portraying her ex-husband positively.
Sonia alleged that the pastor tried to exploit Ighalo’s wealth by demanding tithes before their marriage fell apart. Although she didn’t name the pastor, speculation about his identity ensued among fans.
Sonia's post read:
“I’m just seeing this. Thanks, bro! Don’t mind all these Instagram animals. They want me to fight the father of my kids, someone who fought tirelessly to be present in his children’s life despite intense spiritual manipulation by his family and fraudulent pastors.
“Their plan was ‘TAKE THE KIDS FROM SONIA.’ Take the kids from Ughebe-Nebo herself, ah! Please do not come to my DM and tell me to stop referencing pastors. Matthew 7:15-20. I respect Men of God, but these particular ones will face serious consequences in hellfire.
“They know me well from 1 John 4:4; after all, I changed some of their lives as they begged me to join the list for tithes to enjoy football money. Out of pity, I began to beg on their behalf.
“Yahoo Yahoo pastors who go to wash their eyes in the river and then whisper deceit into people’s ears. He will retire soon; we’ll see who will be the next player they deceive.”
