On her X page, Davido’s first baby mama described how her 9-year-old daughter and her friends used terms she found bewildering, highlighting the generational gap in slang and communication styles. She recounted a recent outing where she was shopping with Imade and her friends, and they referred to someone they saw as “Max” and commented that he was “mewing” too much. This encounter left her feeling out of touch, as she struggled to understand the new slangs.

In her post, she expressed her astonishment: “Yo forget Gen Z, have y’all heard Gen Alpha’s talking? 😅 consider me lost.com my 9yr old & her friends are blowing my mind with all these new slangs today. 😂😂 #CoolMomChronicles.” She shared a humorous anecdote about running into a friend during their shopping trip and how the children’s reactions to the friend’s behavior made her realize how much she had to learn about the latest trends.

She continued: “Ran into a friend of mine while I was out shopping with my madam & her friends & while he was talking to me I saw my girls giggling on the side tell me why they said ‘he looks MAX but why was he MEWING so much?’ When I tell you I had to sit down & allow them lecture me 😂😅.” She humorously concluded by noting that according to her daughter and her friends, she had “the RIZZ” (meaning she’s been that girl) and was considered very “Skibidi” (pretty awesome), likely because she allowed them to enjoy their time at Sephora.
