[p]The Nigeria Police Force has made an official statement reporting the arrest of several suspects in connection to an alleged attempt to kidnap the popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage.

[p]On Friday, news of the singer’s attempted kidnapping began to circulate on social media. According to reports, the singer's private security and the Nigeria Police intervened and successfully rescued her from the suspects.
[/p][p]Sources close to the investigation revealed that the kidnapping plot was planned by a new domestic staff member hired by Tiwa Savage, who had access to crucial information about her movements. The staff allegedly followed the singer from her residence while sharing this information with other members of the supposed kidnapping gang.
[/p][p]The Criminal Investigation Department in Alagbon, Lagos, through its spokesperson, CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi, verified this information to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Lagos. “Yes, we have some suspects, they are in our custody. They are about four,” the spokesperson confirmed.
