Toyin Abraham has updated her profile following the harsh criticism she received for her political choice. The actress had previously declared her support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and was repeatedly dragged on Instagram for it. However, Tinubu eventually won the election.
Recently, a Twitter user asked Toyin who she was supporting in the Lagos State governorship election between the three major candidates – APC’s Babajide Sanwo-Olu, PDP’s Jandor, and Labour Party’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV). In response, the actress questioned the identity of GRV, to which another tweep also queried her own identity by asking, "Who is Toyin Abraham?"
“Who is Toyin Abraham?” he asked.
Considering the severity of the backlash she has received, a Twitter user was forced to ask if Toyin committed another offense aside from supporting Tinubu. In response, the actress wrote, "I didn’t o😭😭Infact na third mainland bridge they drag me reach two days ago, I don’t know my next location now. I’m officially a draggee 😂😂😂".
Despite the criticism she has faced, Toyin has remained firm in her political choice and has updated her personal profile to reflect her resilience in the face of bullying.“Actress, producer ,director, philanthropist, asiwaju baby , speaker, influencer, brand ambassador, highest grossing actress five years till date, producer one of the highest grossing movie, most bullied for her choice etc.”
