The lawsuit, filed on December 21, 2023, in Los Angeles, claims that the incident transpired in 2010 in a St. Regis hotel suite during the filming of 'Fast Five,' where the assistant worked for the acclaimed actor.

The plaintiff, Asta Jonasson, contracted by Diesel's company, One Race, asserted that she was assisting the actor with organizing events and accompanying him to public appearances. The lawsuit alleges that in September 2010, Jonasson was asked to wait in Diesel's hotel suite while he entertained guests. Once alone, Diesel allegedly forcefully pulled her onto the bed, leading to distressing encounters involving unwanted touching and assault.

According to the suit, Jonasson, fearing for her safety and job security, endured inappropriate advances from Diesel, who allegedly engaged in sexual misconduct, disregarding her pleas to stop. The lawsuit further details a disturbing incident where Diesel reportedly molested Jonasson, leading to emotional and physical trauma.

The lawsuit claims that Samantha Vincent, Diesel's sister and president of One Race, terminated Jonasson's employment after less than two weeks. Accusations of discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and retaliation are outlined in the legal action.

The suit also accuses Diesel and One Race of attempting a cover-up, causing Jonasson humiliation and ongoing emotional distress. Notably, Jonasson, bound by a nondisclosure agreement, can now speak out due to the Speak Out Act and California’s AB2777, which temporarily waives statutes of limitations for sexual abuse allegations from 2009 onward.

As of now, Vin Diesel has not publicly responded to the allegations laid out in the lawsuit.
