Yul Edochie and Judy Austin have responded to May Edochie's legal action, where she filed a N100 million lawsuit against Yul Edochie's second wife.
Represented by Femi Falana and Eculaw group, May Edochie is seeking N100 million in damages from Yul and Judy, alleging adultery on their part.
According to updates from the DPA Family Law Clinic, Judy and Yul have been made aware of the lawsuit and have received copies of the legal documents via email.
It is claimed that "both Yul and Judy are avoiding service of the process upon them. The court bailiff has tried so many times to serve them in accordance with the rules of court, but they have evaded service of court process," as alleged by the clinic.
May Edochie has also requested a court order restraining Yul from accessing their former matrimonial home. She raised concerns about her safety and accused Yul of erratic behavior and threats. She suggested that Yul may be influenced by something unknown, stating that she is taking measures to protect herself and her children.
Yul has been advised to consult his lawyer and follow their guidance, if and when he decides to hire one.
Despite the legal challenges, Yul Edochie and Judy Austin appeared unfazed and posted a video on Instagram dancing to Flavour's song with the lyrics 'Na we dey in charge'.
