The drama escalates as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) steps into action by summoning Bobrisky and social media influencer Verydarkman, following the order from the commission’s chairman, Ola Olukoyede, to investigate claims of alleged bribery involving some of its officers. The socialite had previously made headlines with his allegations that he had been charged N15 million to have a money laundering case against him dismissed by the EFCC.

This came to public attention when an audio clip of the crossdresser circulated online, where he revealed that he was allegedly billed N15 million by EFCC officers to clear up his money laundering case. This audio quickly gained traction and stirred up discussions across social media platforms.

Upon hearing of this accusation, the EFCC chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, wasted no time in directing a thorough investigation into the matter. As part of this probe, both Bobrisky and his accuser, Verydarkman, have been summoned to provide more insight into the situation and assist with the ongoing investigation at the EFCC’s Lagos Directorate.

In a formal press release, the anti-graft agency reaffirmed its dedication to uncovering the truth and maintaining transparency. They gave their assurance to the public that a comprehensive investigation would be conducted, and the findings would be made public once concluded.

Olukoyede Orders Investigation of N15million Bobrisky’s Allegations against EFCC Officers

Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede has ordered an immediate investigation into the alleged bribery claims made by Idris Okuneye (a.k.a. Bobrisky) in a viral video circulating across social media. Bobrisky, an ex-convict, accused unnamed officers of the EFCC of collecting the sum of N15,000,000 (Fifteen Million Naira) from him to drop money laundering charges.

In response, the EFCC chairman has constituted a team of investigators to examine the accusations thoroughly. The commission has invited both Okuneye and Martins Vincent Otse (a.k.a. Verydarkman), who shared the allegations in the viral video, to present themselves at the Lagos Directorate to assist investigators in unearthing the facts.

The EFCC assures the public that the allegations will be rigorously investigated, and the results of the investigation will be made public in due course. The commission is steadfast in its commitment to its core values of integrity, courage, professionalism, and collaboration at all times.”
