The Governor congratulated the newly elected chairmen on their victory at the polls, noting that they were transitioning from the realm of politics to the realm of governance. He encouraged them to see themselves as agents of positive change and to work collaboratively as part of what he called "project Anambra."

"Congratulations on your victory at the polls. You have transmitted from the realm of politics to governance. Therefore, see yourselves as agents of positive change in your communities," Soludo stated. "Welcome to project Anambra. Let us work collaboratively to advance the common good of the people because ultimately, we have one goal, which is the security and welfare of the people."

The Governor also issued a reminder that the people of Anambra expect a lot from their new local government leaders, encouraging the chairmen not to disappoint those who had placed their trust in them. He urged them to begin working immediately, as their time in office would be closely watched by the people they were elected to serve.

"As a team in project Anambra, we will not let the people down. You are now sworn-in, show us what you can do. The clock just started ticking. I wish all of you a very successful tenure in office," the Governor added.

He also pledged the collective support of all the chairmen, vowing to work in line with the Governor’s vision for grassroots development and to build on the existing achievements of the administration.
