Italian club AC Milan has completed the signing of Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal in La Liga. The 24-year-old has joined the Rossoneri on a five-year deal worth around 20 million euros ($22.00 million) plus eight million euros in add-ons, as reported by Italian media. Chukwueze is AC Milan's seventh signing of the summer. He previously played for Villarreal, where he featured in 207 matches, scored 37 goals, and won the Europa League under coach Unai Emery. The Nigerian international has also represented his country in 28 caps and contributed four goals to help Nigeria finish third in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. He could make his debut for AC Milan in a friendly against Monza on August 8. Milan is looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season as they aim for another title in Serie A and a successful run in the Champions League.
