Fulham has rebuffed Bayern Munich’s initial £30 million bid for midfielder Joao Palhinha, deeming it insufficient as it falls £20 million short of their valuation.
Bayern Munich, led by newly appointed manager Vincent Kompany's interest, have reignited their pursuit of the Portuguese star.
Although Palhinha reportedly expresses eagerness to make the move to Bavaria, talkSPORT notes that Fulham remains steadfast, insisting on a fee exceeding £50 million.
It's worth recalling that last summer, Palhinha was on the verge of joining Bayern for £55 million, but the deal collapsed on transfer deadline day.
Despite the setback, Palhinha delivered an impressive season with Fulham, featuring in 39 matches and scoring four goals.
Since his arrival from Sporting CP in 2022, Palhinha has emerged as a standout performer in the Premier League, appearing in a total of 79 matches under the guidance of manager Marco Silva.
