The prestigious award ceremony, held at Paris’ Pavillon d’Armenonville on Monday night, spotlighted the outstanding talents of France's football elite for the recently concluded season.

Mbappé's stellar performance throughout the season, which saw him net an impressive 27 goals, was pivotal in PSG's successful title campaign.

This accolade arrives amidst widespread speculation that the league's top scorer, Mbappé, is poised for a summer move to Real Madrid as a free agent.

In addition to Mbappé's triumph, the UNFP Awards recognized various other noteworthy achievements within Ligue 1.

Stade Brestois' exceptional season was duly acknowledged, with their manager Eric Roy clinching the Manager of the Year award.

PSG's shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma was honored as the Goalkeeper of the Year, edging out competition from Marcin Bulka of Nice and Lucas Chevalier of Lille.

Meanwhile, Warren Zaïre-Emery, PSG's teenage prodigy, claimed the Young Player of the Year accolade, further solidifying his potential inclusion in Didier Deschamps' Euro 2024 squad for France.

In the Best French Player Abroad category, Atlético de Madrid's Antoine Griezmann secured the title for the second time since 2016, surpassing competition from William Saliba of Arsenal and Aurélien Tchouaméni of Real Madrid.
