Ofili secured her place by winning heat 6 with a remarkable time of 22.24 seconds on Sunday morning, showcasing her exceptional speed and performance.

In this heat, she outpaced competitors including Great Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith, who finished second with a time of 22.28 seconds, and Gina Bass-Bittaye, who came in third with a time of 22.84 seconds.

This notable achievement follows the Nigerian sprinter’s recent decision to withdraw from the 100m race at the Olympics due to administrative challenges with the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) and the Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC).

At just 21 years old, Ofili continues to demonstrate her exceptional talent and stands out as a key athlete representing Nigeria at the ongoing Paris Olympics.
