In the current rankings, Argentina maintains its top spot globally, following a 1-0 win over Ecuador and a 3-0 away victory against Bolivia in the opening FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers.

France holds onto the second position, although they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Germany during the last international break.

The top five remains unchanged, with Brazil in third place, followed by England in fourth and Belgium in fifth.

Further down the rankings, Croatia, the Netherlands, and Portugal secure the sixth, seventh, and eighth spots, respectively.

Italy has slipped one place to ninth after a 1-1 draw against North Macedonia in a UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier, while Spain completes the top ten teams.

On the continental level, Nigeria currently occupies the sixth position in Africa, trailing behind Morocco (1st), Senegal (2nd), Tunisia (3rd), Algeria (4th), and Egypt (5th).

Other African nations have also seen shifts in their rankings, with Lesotho at 152nd, South Africa at 65th, and Benin Republic at 94th. Zimbabwe maintains its 125th position, while Rwanda remains at 139th.
