According to Sky Sport Italia, although Napoli might be inclined to consider Al-Ahli’s bid, which is notably below Osimhen’s release clause, the player himself prefers to remain in Europe to continue playing in the UEFA Champions League.
As the transfer window approaches its deadline, the situation is becoming increasingly tense. Osimhen’s indecision is impacting Napoli’s overall transfer strategy. The Italian club reportedly seeks a fee closer to €100 million plus additional bonuses for the prolific forward, but so far, no European club has matched Al-Ahli’s bid.
Chelsea is still a potential destination for Osimhen, particularly if Napoli is able to secure Romelu Lukaku in a separate deal. However, Osimhen’s primary focus remains on moving to a club competing at the highest levels of European football, making a switch to Stamford Bridge less likely at this stage.
