Osimhen had a remarkable season in Italy, playing a pivotal role in Napoli's triumph in Serie A after a 33-year wait. The talented striker scored an impressive 31 goals and provided 5 assists in 39 matches across all competitions.

Several top clubs including Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, and PSG have expressed interest in securing Osimhen's signature, considering his exceptional performances. However, Napoli has set a high price to discourage potential suitors, with President Aurelio De Laurentiis demanding at least €180m for the talented forward. De Laurentiis also claimed that Osimhen has agreed verbally to extend his contract until June 2027.

PSG is currently facing difficulties in finding a new center forward for the upcoming season. The Parisian club has all but given up on pursuing Randal Kolo Muani, who is being pursued by Bayern Munich and Manchester United. As a result, their focus has shifted to targeting either Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen. The 24-year-old Nigerian possesses the ideal attributes to form a formidable partnership with Kylian Mbappé.

However, Napoli is determined not to let Osimhen leave easily. The Italian champions are keen on retaining their prolific goalscorer, particularly with the aim of advancing beyond the quarter-finals in the next edition of the UEFA Champions League.

According to transfer pundit Alfredo Pedulla from Sportitalia, PSG may structure their offer for Osimhen to include performance-related bonuses, potentially reaching up to €150m. This development could eliminate Premier League clubs from the race for the Nigerian star, as Manchester United and Chelsea appear hesitant to exceed the €100m mark in their pursuit of him.

Napoli is scheduled to hold discussions with Osimhen's agent to assess the situation. In the event of the striker's departure, the club has already identified Jonathan David from LOSC as a potential replacement for Osimhen.
