This surpasses the previous record of 34 goals set by Abderrazak Hamdallah in the 2019/20 season.

In Al Nassr’s final league match against Al Ittihad, Ronaldo netted twice in a 4-2 win, securing second place for his team.

The 39-year-old also contributed 11 assists in his first full season with the club.

Ronaldo’s achievement in the Saudi Pro League is another milestone in his illustrious career.

He is now the first player ever to be the top scorer in four different leagues: the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and the Saudi Pro League.

He won the Premier League Golden Boot with Manchester United in 2008, was La Liga’s top scorer three times with Real Madrid, and claimed the Serie A top scorer title in the 2020/21 season with Juventus.

The only major league where Ronaldo hasn’t finished as the top scorer is the Primeira Liga in Portugal, where he scored three goals in 25 appearances during the 2002/03 season as a teenager.
