A 3-year-old boy, who was abducted by a nanny in the Gwarimpa area of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, has been reunited with his mother in an emotional video. Earlier this week, an Abuja-based businesswoman shared the distressing news on social media, stating that the nanny had taken the child from the estate but had not returned. The mother of the abducted child is currently battling cancer. The alleged kidnappers contacted the family and demanded a ransom of N15 million, which was later negotiated to N5 million but declined. Fortunately, the child was returned to his mother after the nanny and her accomplices were apprehended. Jesse Dan Yusuf, a family member, confirmed the arrest of the suspected kidnappers and the joyful reunion of the boy with his unwell mother.
