890 stolen mobile phones lead to Kano arrest

In Kano state, a suspected thief has been apprehended by the police, who managed to recover a staggering Eight Hundred and Ninety (890) Mobile phones from his possession. According to SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the Kano police spokesperson, this arrest came as a response to a public outcry from the coordinators of Dansulaika GSM Market, Farm Center, Kano. On August 24, it was reported that unknown individuals had broken into eleven (11) shops by accessing them through the roof ceilings. They made off with not only Mobile Phones but also Desktop and Laptop Computers, as well as cash, ATM cards, and various accessories.

To tackle this issue, the police launched a comprehensive intelligence-led operation, which eventually led to the apprehension of one Ibrahim Adamu, a male resident of Sallari Quarters, Tarauni LGA, Kano. The suspect confessed to the police that he acted alone in committing these crimes. He also cooperated in helping the police recover a significant portion of the stolen property. This includes One Hundred and Six (106) Mobile Phones, Nine (9) Laptop Computers, Sales Money amounting to One Hundred and Fifteen Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty Naira (N115,940:00), Nine (9) ATM cards, and assorted accessories.

As the investigation continues, Kiyawa has stated that the suspect will face legal charges in court for his alleged crimes.
