A Nigerian man has taken to social media to disclose the rather extravagant requests a Lagos woman made before agreeing to go on a date with him.
The young man, who extended the invitation for a date, was left astounded by the extensive list of prerequisites the lady had set for their rendezvous.
He shared a video, complete with a screen recording of the voice note in which the woman articulated her stipulations.
In her own words: “I'm genuinely baffled. Guys are complaining. In Lagos, if you want to meet me, you must arrange a date, but it's not as simple as suggesting we meet at a local eatery. No!! You must make reservations at a restaurant in a hotel; only then will I consider going out. Otherwise, I'll stay at home. We can continue chatting and watching each other's updates, but I won't budge. You must cover the cost of my outfit and makeup, as I cannot wear an outfit I've already posted on my Instagram to meet you.”
The Lagos woman also stated that if he was truly interested in seeing her, he should buy the dress, as she already had a matching purse and shoes for the occasion.
This sense of entitlement has stirred the anger of many netizens, who believe that certain women exhibit excessive demands.
