A hair vendor has shared the story behind her decision to shave off her hair after experiencing a setback at a trade fair where she failed to sell any wigs, resulting in a loss of N300,000.
She recounted how she invested heavily in logistics and advertising, spending over N300,000 in hopes of recouping her investment at the trade show. Unfortunately, she did not make any sales during the event.
In response to her ordeal, the businesswoman, known as @elizah_china on TikTok, made the difficult decision to shave her head so that she could wear the unsold wigs herself.
She wrote:
“Shaving my head so I can finally wear all the wigs I couldn’t sell at a trade fair I invested over N300k for logistics and advertising without selling anything. Business is really not for the weak. I am grateful for this experience though at least I am wiser now.”
