An elderly man engaged in the motorcycle taxi business shares his reasons for continuing despite having adult children who own cars.
A circulating video on social media captures the scene as fellow riders inquire about his persistence in the trade.
According to the man, he’s from a well-to-do family and all his three children own nice cars regardless of his current status as an okada rider.
He added that he has been a car owner all his life and his choice to retire as an Okada rider has nothing to do with grace to grass speculations.
“Three of my children are car owners; I have no reason to lie. Do you know the number of cars I’ve used? Four? This is not about going from grace to grass. Here in Ogudu, Adepoju is my family,” he stated.
