A young Nigerian lady recently shared a distressing encounter with an Uber driver who scolded her for what he perceived as a discourteous approach during their chat.

The lady, identified as @Gracebal0 on the microblogging platform X, took to social media to call out the unprofessional behavior of the cab-hailing service driver.

After booking a ride, she inquired about the driver's proximity to the pickup location, writing, “Sir please be fast if you can. Are you getting closer?” However, the Uber driver responded by accusing her of lacking manners in her chat approach.

Regrettably, the situation escalated as the driver allegedly cursed her and abruptly ended the trip after expressing his anger during a phone call with her.

Sharing her ordeal, she expressed, “I experienced this disrespect from an Uber driver today. He ended up insulting me and canceling the trip with no remorse.”
