The submersible named "Titan," which had been reported missing for several days, has now been found, and the news is tragic. According to reports, the vessel experienced a catastrophic loss of pressure, leading to its implosion and the unfortunate demise of all five passengers who were aboard.

The Coast Guard confirmed this heartbreaking information on Thursday. Rear Adm. John Mauger stated that a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) discovered a portion of the Titan approximately 1,600 feet away from the bow of the Titanic wreckage on the sea floor.

During the search, five distinct major pieces of debris from the submersible were located in the area. Notably, each end of the pressure hull was found in separate locations, as detailed by Paul Hankins, the US Navy Director of Salvage Operations and Ocean Engineering.

"This is an incredibly unforgiving environment down there on the sea floor, and the debris is consistent with a catastrophic implosion of the vessel. Upon making this determination, we promptly notified the families," Mauger, the First Coast Guard District commander, shared with reporters.

Just minutes before the news conference, OceanGate Expeditions, the company responsible for operating the deep-sea submersible, released a statement expressing their profound grief for the five men who were aboard.

It has been revealed that individuals who desire to visit the Titanic wreckage are required to pay a substantial amount, with prices reportedly reaching up to $250,000 per person.
