Nigerian media figure, Ifedayo Olarinde, widely known as Daddy Freeze, has addressed allegations of being an absentee father. In a recent live video conversation with comedian Julius Agwu, Daddy Freeze revealed the reasons behind his 7-year absence from seeing his children.
[/p]During the video session, Daddy Freeze opened up about not having any contact with his children for almost a decade. He mentioned that the only contact information he has to reach his children is his ex-wife, Opeyemi's phone number.
Despite the circumstances, Daddy Freeze assured that he is doing well and encouraged others not to worry excessively about him. He expressed his prayers for the well-being of his children and his hopes for their safety.
In his own words, "I never see my kids for seven years; everybody wey dey follow me know. If I see them for road, I no fit recognize them. The only number their mama give me to reach them na her number. I just pray they are okay. I am fine, if you all her worried about me, I am cool."
It's important to note that Daddy Freeze was married to Opeyemi Olarinde, and they had two children together. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2014, with both parties making allegations of adultery and domestic violence against each other.
