A Nigerian lady abroad who bagged a degree in Nursing after completing a degree in Cybersecurity has expressed deep gratitude for her parents’ substantial financial sacrifice for her education. The lady, who is now celebrating her achievements, took to TikTok to share her appreciation with a viral video featuring a popular song with the phrase, “President General among the Nation.” In the video, identified by her social media handle @prettypin2, she publicly saluted her parents for their support.
In her video, she disclosed that her parents had paid ₦83,000,000 for her nursing school fees and an additional ₦37,000,000 for her master’s degree in Cybersecurity. The total amount spent on her education amounted to approximately £40,000 for the nursing program and £18,000 for the master's degree.
Overwhelmed by her parents’ sacrifices, she thanked them in her viral TikTok video, which not only conveyed her gratitude but also brought joy to her parents. She captioned the video: “Shoot out to my dad and mum that paid my £40,000 nursing school fees after paying £18,000 for MSc Cybersecurity.”
