The controversy began when a snapshot surfaced on social media, supposedly shared by the Happie Boys on their Instagram story, defaming the preacher.

According to the snapshot, the text reads, “Jesus, I had a terrible dream about that man, he eats people's flesh. He obtained his miracle power from India.”

To verify the authenticity of the allegations, Gistreel reached out to the duo, who confirmed that the snapshot is completely fabricated and doctored with the intention of generating web traffic.

In their response, the Happie Boys stated, “Greetings! We have no knowledge of this situation. Blogs are simply taking advantage of our name to post whatever they please in order to gain more engagement. Just so you are aware.”

It is important to note that amidst the controversy surrounding the termination of their scholarship and their refusal to return to Nigeria, the Happie Boys have apologized to the preacher.
