As the global authority on record-breaking accomplishments, Guinness World Records has recognized and celebrated Hilda Baci's relentless effort to surpass the previous record for the longest cooking marathon.

In the late hours of yesterday, Hilda Baci accomplished her target of cooking non-stop for an impressive 96 hours. However, driven by her determination, she decided to extend her feat by an additional 4 hours, reaching an extraordinary 100-hour cooking marathon.

Hilda Baci's exceptional achievement of breaking the previous record, held by an Indian chef who cooked for 87 hours and 45 minutes, has now been officially recognized by Guinness World Records. The organization has shared the momentous cooking journey of Hilda Baci on their story.

A statement published on the official Guinness World Records website on Tuesday reads, "She’s hoping to snap up the record title for the longest cooking marathon (individual) which currently belongs to Lata Tondon (India) with a time of 87 hr 45 min". "Hilda began cooking on Thursday and continued through to Monday, reportedly whipping up 55 recipes and more than 100 meals in a whopping 100-hour stint.

"Officials on our records team look forward to reviewing the evidence and hope to be able to verify Hilda’s efforts as a new record very soon," the statement further reveals.

A spokesperson from the prestigious British reference platform expressed their anticipation, stating, "we are looking forward to receiving the evidence for its Records Management Team to review before we can confirm the record is official."
