A Nigerian man has become the victim of a cunning travel agent who promised him a Canadian visa but absconded with a staggering sum of N15 million.
This unfortunate turn of events has shattered the man's dreams of relocating to Canada, as all his efforts and hard-earned assets were swindled away in the process.
The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, shared his distressing ordeal with Grandma Shasha, a prominent TikTok user widely recognized for creating travel-related content.
According to his account, he had set his sights on starting a new life in Canada and sought the assistance of an agent who claimed to have expertise in securing Canadian visas.
Eager to pursue his Canadian dream, the hopeful man went to great lengths to raise the exorbitant sum demanded by the deceptive agent. He parted with his most valuable possessions, including the only piece of land he had inherited from his late father, as well as his two cars. With these assets liquidated, he managed to gather the N15 million required by the agent to facilitate the visa process.
