A man has declared himself the “happiest man on the planet” after proposing to his lover just 46 days into their talking stage.
The excited Twitter user, Ngoni Mujuru, shared the news of his engagement that took place over the past weekend, revealing that his whirlwind romance with his partner began on July 1st.
Ngoni described the proposal as a surprise, which he pulled off at @Singita_’s Pamushana Lodge, and he was thrilled when she said YES. He shared his joy in a post: “Soooo, I got engaged to the girl of my dreams this past weekend! It’s been a whirlwind romance in the best of ways, started talking on the 1st of July…then 46 days later, managed to pull off a surprise proposal for her at @Singita_’s Pamushana Lodge 💍. She said YES and now I am literally the happiest man on this planet 🕺 🕺 🕺 .”
Ngoni also mentioned that his fiancée has been meeting his friends and family, who all adore her. He humorously noted that he has been jokingly suggesting he would one day introduce her to Michelle Obama. Ngoni added: “She’s been meeting my friends and family and they all love her! It being me, from the time I met her, I’ve been jokingly telling her that one day, I’d have to introduce her to Michelle….@MichelleObama 🙈. She never believed it, but after the proposal, I think about 1% of her believes it could actually happen 😬. So just reaching out to my network…any chance any of you have Michelle’s number….or more like, any chance we can get her communication team just to react to this message? Ngoni concluded his post by expressing how the past two months have been an incredible journey, stating, “It would just add icing to an already perfect cake that’s been these past 2 months of my life 🙏 .”
