A Nigerian man, identified as @Oluwasheffy, recently conducted an intriguing experiment at the Iyana Ipaja market in Lagos. He ventured into the market with a mirror, bending his head to look through it, in an attempt to dispel the belief in ghosts or spirits.

@Oluwasheffy took to Twitter to share the aftermath of his bold experiment, confidently stating, "I've gone there and prove them wrong, nothing absolutely nothing will happen to you." In a video accompanying the tweet, he can be seen bending down and looking through the mirror held under his legs. Another clip shows him attempting to pick up his key from the ground, all in an effort to demonstrate that there is nothing to fear.

The Twitterverse responded with a mix of humor and skepticism. Some users playfully suggested that he should have used mirrors from barbershops or tried the experiment at 3 am. Others jokingly remarked that the ghosts must have been too shy to appear. One user humorously commented on his choice of attire, stating that he should not have worn a white shirt if he intended to interact with spirits. Some users advised him to use a larger mirror or conduct the experiment in busier markets to obtain more convincing results.

While the video sparked various reactions, opinions differed on the significance of the location chosen for the experiment. Some users argued that the market where @Oluwasheffy conducted his test was not suitable, suggesting that he should have tried it in busier markets like Idumota, Ibafo, or Ketu. They felt that the buzzing atmosphere of such markets might provide a more accurate reflection of the myth.

Regardless of the responses received, @Oluwasheffy's experiment served as an intriguing topic of discussion, highlighting the enduring fascination with the supernatural and the diversity of beliefs surrounding it.
