Chinedu Ikedieze shared his dismay at the countless messages he receives from individuals pleading for various amounts of money, ranging from small to large sums. He recounted some extreme cases, revealing that one person had audaciously requested $35,000, which is approximately N20 million in the local currency. Another individual had asked him for $12,000 to open a shop.
The actor emphasized that he cannot continue to fulfill these requests as it takes a toll on his finances, especially considering the current state of the nation's economy. Chinedu Ikedieze expressed his frustration in the video, stating, "I dey vex, I'm not happy. This is getting out of hands. How can you people turn my DM to bank of Industry? If I start to share the money like that, it would finish."
The actor's plea resonated with many social media users, sparking thousands of reactions. Some blamed the situation on the economic challenges faced by the country, while others condemned the audacity of individuals making such requests.
