Eyewitnesses were left in astonishment as they watched her seemingly defy gravity by floating on water while engaged in prayer. However, it was later revealed that she had placed a piece of wood on the water's surface and positioned her prayer mat on it, creating the illusion that she was standing on water.

In response to the incident, Fanta expressed that the act held no significance to her because both she and the water were servants of Allah. She believed that as long as a person feared and obeyed Allah and His prophet, and prayed for them, Allah had the power to enable extraordinary feats, including manipulating water and fire.

Regarding her arrest, the Taouyah special police of Guinea stated that her act of praying on water was not considered an offense. A senior police official questioned the reasoning behind her arrest, stating that it was unclear why she was detained, although a complaint had been filed against her by a citizen.

While Fanta remains in police custody, the precise cause of her arrest has not been officially disclosed, despite the police denying that it was directly linked to her act of praying on water.
