A married woman recently opened up about her decision to divorce her husband of two years, despite him being a good guy, due to her unhappiness in the marriage.
The woman, identified as Minnie F. Baby on Facebook, took to the platform to explain in detail the reasons behind her decision to end her marriage.
According to her, she was never truly attracted to her husband but decided to marry him at the time, believing that he was everything she wanted in a partner and in her life.
In her own words:
“I spent 2 years of my life unhappy with this man! I’ve been in denial about my desires for women and I’m ready to live in my truth. I was never attracted to this man. I never fell in love with this man."
“My husband was just a good guy that I felt I needed, but I never wanted him. IDGAF what anyone thinks about me. I’m choosing me and my happiness. I’m much prettier when I smile, and a smile is something this man never gave me. I FILED THE DIVORCE!!!!!”
In a revealing twist, she shared a photo with her new partner, who is a woman, and expressed how meeting her was an instant connection that made her feel butterflies like never before in the last two years.
“I’ve been with my husband for 2 years and I never smiled. The day I saw you at that truck stop in Mobile, filling that 18-wheeler up, I instantly felt butterflies. Baby, in one month you gave me a feeling that a man couldn’t give me in 2 years. I’m tired of hiding my true self. I want you to know I’m ready to walk away from my marriage and spend my life with you. I love you, woman,” she added.
